The English Pound Sterling was around $2 a short while ago. Simply put 1 pound = $2. America is on sale, has been for some time. Weak dollar increased the sale hysteria. Liberal Arts Degree and I figured it out. duh ! Put your money on the other side of both oceans...US based equities are behaving like a hedge fund. Maybe a bull put spread is in order. Consult your Shaman for further wisdom.

So when it pops,will the U.S. have to control the world's oil supply so that it has something to barter?
Seems that way if the dollar is devalued anymore,then what replaces it?
Industry?
No,that's owned by foriegn banks USA borrowed from to get us into this mess.
Gold reserves?
No ,gold is no longer used to back up the dollar.
Tax payers?
No.There are not enough of them.Never will be.

Sure the money game is important but the more fundamental game is land speculation. The cost of houses has not gone up except to reflect the cost of construction. It is the cost of land that has been driven to speculative heights and it is that speculative value that is disappearing under our houses. The job of the money guys has always been to supply money to fuel the get something for nothing land speculation industry. Japanese banks loaned money against speculative land value too. Duh.

The ultra wealthy have so much money now, & are in control of the Federal Reserve and other CENTRAL BANKS world wide in each nation, that they print it on demand.
It has become that paper once was a reciept of Gold in the treasury, is now just paper with a perceived value of the market.
It has become so now it's just numbers on a computer, and all can be given enough if they take away this illusion of market value.
they have effectively made themselves almost unnecessary in a new world we make.
