I don't think Bush is running for a third term. The difference between Ralph and Dr. Paul is that Dr. Paul isn't running independent, so your vote still counts and will only take away from the other republican candidates.

youre an idiot. federal debt is vital to the economy. how is the economy supposed to keep booming if you remove money from it? no matter where the money is spent, it goes to one of three places: the hands of another individual, a savings account, or an investment. either way, it changes possesion. with more money, more transactions can be made and the speed of the economy increases. you are ignorant to the federal debt.

9 trillion debt is vital to the economy? Who is that money going to? We owe billions to China, they'll get a piece. You don't seem to understand that this is not a closed system, and our money is our biggest export. So if all our money is going oversees where it is owed, how is that helping our economy? They wont give it back. More money printed means the dollar is worth less. If we were in better shape there would be more transactions, but if the dollar is devalued we have less money to spend!

more money printed does not mean that the dollar is worth less. inflation is measured by value of goods over value of money. the value of goods or money can alter it. exporting money and letting china borrow our money means that we are loaning them money. also, borrowing money from them means that it increases our credit.
learn something about macro economics. and suck my balls.

The Industrial revolution didn't come about to create or improve a standard of living. It came about when new technology was conceived, dramatically increasing productively. In many cases, as with child labor and the first sweatshops, the ind. revolution was a dramatic decrease ion quality of life. They just hadn't exported the sweatshops over to 3rd world countries yet.

Right, and i didn't mean to imply the US gov created the Industrial rev. It took unions to raise the standard, and then WW2.When all those boys came back they were a little more united than prior.I didn't mean to make it as simple as i implied.But the fact is our gov, on behalf of big business is breaking the US standard of living.This has never been more clear.Our gov has created laws preventing us from competeing with mexic and china. Labor laws, envirolaws. Business regs & so on.

You don't want to compete with Mexico. I did it for years in California. Count your blessings when your son or a Mexican is who digs the post holes when you're old and you're still on the job. Or work smart and not so hard. From China it's a longer swim. I don't know that I want a plastics factory on every corner here or to be spending all day doing assembly line work. I'd rather be a starving artist in America living on my scrambled nest eggs.
