police isn't just local government. irs, dea, atf all have military/swat units within them, and all are federal. these agencies can take advantage of new anti terrorism laws that allow them to snoop into your life without a judge's approval for merely alleging that you are a terrorist (which is a very broad term).
so, everyone's right to habeas corpus has been modified, as now the government has a "get out of jail free card" to get around judges supervision (which is what habeas corpus is).

Any law enforcement can take "advantage" of any laws this does not mean we should not have them, if your not a suspected terrorist and not having communications with them, you have nothing to worry about. Protecting citizens is in the constitution.

if a law allows the cops to bypass a judge, and hence habeas corpus, then it isn't just "any little ole law that the cops can take advantage of" as you are trying to portray. It goes against the very essense of liberty, and habeas corpus is a cornerstone to our american way of life. Do not attack people just people you don't understand this principle. The fact is, Bush has changed the way the legal system works, and he hasn't had any real reason for doing so. All this will come out in time.

And all the wars since Korea can be deemed unconstitutional and hence illegal, because congress never declared war in the manner that the constitution mandates.
Congress must declare war. The Constitution doesn't allow us to go to war under UN resolutions.
The Iraq war is illegal under these conditions as well.
