He, more or less, sings this song directly to Dionne Warrick (who, originally, sung this song).
With the exception of "Stop to Love" (Live at Wembley), this is the best Luther VanDross performance I've ever seen.

With the appreciation that I have for great voices, I can't help but think about the "Heavenly Choir" that has now been assembled! Luther, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Isaac Hayes & Melvin Franklin from the Temptations, to name a few. No one could possibly put a price on a concert like that! If we choose to live a life with Love, Kindness & Compassion for each other, perhaps this "Concert" could be part of our reward in the next life. That's MORE inspiration to get, and keep My "act" together.

I thank you for this. There has yet to be a male vocalist who can sing a song like this. Whats disappointing to me is the fact that Luther and Whitney houston never recorded a duet. That would have been timeless.

Luther + Microphone + Audience = Pure Bliss! No music required; HE WAS THAT GOOD! I consider myself totally blessed to have had the opportunity to witness Luther perform "Live" twice. My Wife & I experienced the same emotional "Joyride" as the audience in this video during both concerts. His talent was truly Heavenly-Kissed; a once-in-a-lifetime performer. God bless Him.
