the clips in this is really old, rugby players are on similar diets and weight lifting programs as american football players. These guys are hardly slow, they'd pace the majority of your overweight american football players.

I hate it when people say football is more intense that rugby. I've played football and rugby and rugby is MUCH more intense. It doesnt have pussy padding or gay litle breaks like football has, rugby is pure tackling and you never stop gameplay, its an extremely fast pased came, so shut the fuck up all you football people that say rugby is for pusies!

exactly, they say ahh they would batter our rugby players, but im telling you know, the NFL players wouldnt go in half as hard for tackles if they had padding they would lay off.
and rugby is more intense because your body has no time to recooperate after each play because they are constantly running and tackling, you have to be much much fitter to play rugby than NFL.

I think its a good thing we Americans dont start up a national Rugby league.
1. The rest of the world would then have another reason to make fun of us.
2. We would then be insulted even more for all the Brain-damage that would ensue.
3. Is Causing another person pain REALLY something to brag about? Come on.

In football you get helmets n padding for yur chest n legs n stuff, where as in rugby all you get is an optional scrum cap so you dont get coliflower ears (bits ripped off) and must have a gum sheild so that you dont have to eat your dinner through a straw for the rst of your life!

Knee tackles... yes.
Head tackles (high hits)... yes.
Back turned... yes.
Head turned... yes.
Player jumping for ball... yes.
The only thing I think you could argue is "sitting", in which case I meant they could be down going for the ball; and "head tackles" which you might be misunderstanding as facemask, which of course, is not legal. I meant high hit, head-to-head contact, which is legal.
