I have to admit that although I do find her funny, but for some odd reason this gig isn't really that funny. I wasn't laughing the least bit at any one of her jokes, for this gig though. Search up various "Asian Comedian" and you will find a lot who I think is way funnier with better materials overall. I've seen so many to name them all, beside I don't know all their names off the top of my head to name them. Look in my profile under funny shit playlist toward the end for funny asian comedians.

Margaret Cho is rated as the most unfunniest comedian of all time. If you want to see a better comedian try Russell Peters. He talks about everybody and had me crying from laughing too hard.

Margaret Cho and Russell Peters are both brilliant. Unfortunately in recent years, Margaret's become far too political, and her comedy suffers as a result. However her older stuff (like this video) is pure comedic gold.

It was on the news earlier this this year. And she wasnt funny then either. Her jokes are unorganized. Her voice is annoying. Russell Peters is funny as hell. He can make any group of people laugh. Cho is too narrow. She only caters to white comedy. To be good, you have to diversify like Russell did. He caters to everyone because he knows how to make jokes for everybody without being offensive. Cho needs to take notes on those that are doing better than her dried up acts.

I am Asian, I have a Korean girlfriend, I have a Korean friends, I taught Asian students for 3 years...I think Margaret Cho is pretty f***king funny and not stupid at all. If anything, I think you are stupid because you obviously don't get her jokes. It's called sarcasm and it. Look it up in the dictionary sometime. I am Asian, I have a lot of Korean friends. I know Korean culture pretty well. I think Margaret Cho is pretty f***king funny. Maybe you just don't get her wit and sarcasm. You should look it up in the dictionary sometime. Some opinions are just not meant to be posted here and should be kept to the people who have them. Especially if they are not intelligent opinions.

Ok i'll bite. But see, Asians make up of the entire Eastern side of the world from India to China (excluding Asians in the West). So while there are "other asians" who share your opinion, there are those who DO NOT. When you say "my opinion is widely shared by other asians", that is a statement limited to your knowledge. On another note, Russell Peters is brilliant. He truly is. But he does not talk about "everybody".

I wouldnt be foolish enough say every asian feels the same way, but there is a large group (more or less) that do. Its obvious that Cho only stuck to one audience which limited her skill and career. Russell is brilliant. He does talk about everybody. He modifies his acts to fit with his audience. Check out his acts out on Youtube. :)

I know Peters is brilliant. I'm a huge fan. But no, he doesnt talk about everybody, even tho he tries to change his acts to suit his audiences. Talking about the more commonly known groups of the world population doesnt stand for everyone. And whether or not Cho focuses on one or more generalised audience should not be used to evaluate whether or not she's funny. Of course there'd a large group of asians who wouldnt like her. But my point is that there'd be a large group who likes Cho as well.
