In an email to supporters, Ralph Naders campaign announced:
Also, you might have heard that there were plans to have a third party debate this coming Sunday in New York.
It was a good idea, with good energy behind it, but unfortunately it apparently is not going to happen this Sunday.
We send our thanks and gratitude to those who made the effort. It took a lot of logistics, planning and coordination.
But in the end, with the timeline and candidates schedules, it just didnt work out.

I also feel displeasure seeing that Nader seems to really focus his attacks on Obama and Barr. Every other candidate seems to make no matter to him. It's like he wants McCain to win. But as I have said before, perhaps this is a good strategy. Allow Republicans to win yet again so they can hang themselves and destroy the Republican foundation of the two party system. But then again, how long and how much chaos will it take before that happens?

You know, I've always been outspoken AGAINST Obama and certainly McCain, and I've always wanted them to open the debates, but now I see that none of these Third Party candidates seem to care!! I mean, what the fuck is going on??? Where is Nader here??? He should be THRILLED with this! He never even announced this on his website!!! What are these Third Party party candidates doing??? I even compelled to just support Obama to keep the neo-cons out, unless Nader gets serious.

Here's the REAL DEAL. all us peasants are broke and got stuck with a trillion dollar plus tax hike for the bail out. so we don't have the moeny. big bissiness, banks and the government claim thay don't have the money... SO WHERES ALL THE MONEY??? it didn't just magically disappear. vote 3rd party and let them know we are not yet ready to be the stupid, obdeiant debt slaves they wish to control.

they are. but unlike the Republicrats, they do not get funding from tax dollars and campain contributions from corporate pigs, special intrest groups and lobbists. those are not the people they are fighting for. they fight for the country and the people. so they cant afford all the adds and the government doesnt allow them to join in the debates. chech out Ron Paul videos. economists, etc. and most of us "little guys" respect and love what he says.

yes, i understand. perhaps the 3rd party is there as a ploy to make the Rats seem genuine. maybe once we stop voting for the 3rd partys altogether is "their" signal that the peasants have become completely submissive. i honestly dont know. i DO wish i had all the answers.

Well . . . I don't believe entirely in what you seem to be implying, but yes, I do think a vote for Third Party is useful.

There should be more opportunities for the third-party or independent candidates. The two establishment parties do not encompass all the range of political viewpoints of America.

The debate was rescheduled to take place tomorrow night in Washington. I email all news media about covering this. Currently only PBS responded I gave them a contact name and have yet to hear if they will be attending. You can listen to this debate live on rtrradio . com will air it live on the Internet and Radio. Thats all I know for now.

Apparently, Baldwin and Nader are debating tonight on C-Span.
Baldwin is a constitutionalist, Christian conservative. Nader is a consumer advocate liberal.
I prefer Nader because he has a great track record!

Ron Paul's platform and Baldwin's platform are about identical. There is very little difference. In fact, it's likely Paul would be part of a Baldwin administration.
Nader is very different than Paul.
BUT - Barr, Baldwin, McKinney and Nader all agree on the 4 POINTS:
1. End war immediately, bring all troops home
2. Balance the budget
3. Repeal PATRIOT, FISA, etc.
4. Audit/investigate the Federal Reserve.
The other issues would be quite different, but these 4 points are so significant!
