Brian records an ultra rare Orange Porsche Carrera GT. This was the only Carrera GT that originally came from the factory in this color. Video starts with footage of the CGT arriving and at the show, then a set of pictures, then the CGT starting up, revving, and driving off. Amazing car.

this is not a stock CGT: it's the techart's rivisitation of the car...635 hp instead 612 and a totally repainting...if you search on google u can find these information ;-)

I normally do not reply. But in Brian defense. It is not the Techart car. He origianlly purchased in Florida. I know the salesman and the car. It is factory. The techart one has no emission. It was actually commission by a sheik. This is his3rd Vehicle Techart has don for him. Bob

i think not because orange wasn't avaiable for the CGT and i don't know about the possibility of customize the color because Porsche usually don't do this things for these special versions (Lamborghini and Ferrari yes), surely not for the rims that are too much particular...i think that the owner have customized the car later...

yes, i've checked on google the photos of techart's version that have no Porsche's logo on the front hood and have a little black deflector (always on the frot hood)...so as i've explained up there i don't think that this car was properly "stock" but i think about a little customization after the purchase...anyway i don't know why customize a CGT like the techart version: why don't buy a techart directly (too much money? one limited series?)?

Again... this was the ONLY car to come from the factory in this color. Porsche does do custom painting; thats not even what this is though. They released a few other unique colors for the first production CGTs; I believe there was a rather unique blue CGT that rolled off the production line.
Techart does produce this color, yes, and the rims are aftermarket; correct as well. However, for the last time, this car came stock this color. At :12 you can see the porsche badge; techart doesnt do that.

Only in 2005 Porsche offered paint to sample. A $23k option I later found out.I have the Pearl Orange 2005. Factory. Also Tech. is a complete repaint. As for why Techart customize. The sheik wanted alittle more uniqueness????? Pull up Orange Porsche Carrera GT for sale.

ok, ok, calm down...i've understand...it's strange, i've never heard about that particular colours (italian's wikipedia don't talk about colours of CGT and i can't find any informations in all my books/magazine about Porsche) but now i know that (thanks to US wiki -.-"). can u tell me something about other colours like orange or blue? sorry, i don't understand if u have a CGT or not...

The CGT came stock for most people in five colors: red, yellow, black, gray, and a silver. Of the first I think 10 produced, there were 3 or 4 that people had opted to do custom paintjobs on and this orange one i believe was painted this way before anyone had bought it; meaning it was porsches only true factory color that isnt one of the 5. Regarding the other custom colors, I am not sure, I do not own a CGT but know a lot about them - i only know two custom colors, being this orange and a blue

Yes I have the other Stock Pearl orange. ARAN-Borl. It is a lighter orange from this one you are looking at. Factory only offered paint to sample in 2005. CGT after #1100.
