The CFR is a think tank for like minded elites who want a one world government. It stands for everything that is NOT Ron Paul. Ron Paul may not be an available choice now, but let's not give up and "vote the lesser of two evils". Get the vote out for Barr of the Libertarian Party or Baldwin of the Constitutional party.

Another factor is that many feel that we need big government to be able to control big business. Or at least to fix some of the problems while we find ways to do things better.
If we want to get rid of the power elites we will need to be organized. they won't just go away because we elect someone.
Organized is another way of saying. big government.
