I agree kingeddy, up to one point. If crap ever got bad enough and your family is hungry, even gold is worthless. Give me guns and piles of ammo any day. So long as civilization can keep it together, yes, gold is more solid a currency than paper.

It is so hard to talk to people about what is going on because they believe in the system. I have been hearing a lot of people saying that socialism is a good thing. Well, that's what we have now!! This is socialized economics at it's best. Interest fixing, debt passed on to the WHOLE population because of consumerism overload. I think I hear the horsemen.
