i think the michaels seeing the chokeslam was an excuse because then michaels would've rang the bell anyway before the piledriver.
that's the scary thing about hitting these spots because if something screws up, like this or a royal rumble elmination for example, everything is thrown out of whack unless they BS it--like this---especially when they know they can create storylines where the buzzer intentionally goes off before and they havta have a rematch to decide it
