Seeing the Bush speech at the beginning makes me so sad. It reminds me how hopeful I was as a young Republican that Bush would lead as a conservative. I really believed in Bush. And look where we are now: nation building, huge spending, deficits, new welfare programs, spying, the erosion of civil liberties. It's tragic, really
