I was lucky to go to a Liza and Joel Grey performance back in the 80's. It was incredible to see both of them perform songs from the movie Cabaret. They even duplicated the costumes! Amazing duo!

does anyone think that Joel Grey's character was a Nazi, a homosexual or a Jew? because in the play about 10 years ago, it was revealed in the end that he was a gay Jew who was wearing those concentration camps clothes. But in his film, he seems like a flamboyant sinster Nazi-like character.

He doesn't seem like a Nazi at all. Where do you find your idea for this? The only anti-semetic comment he makes is during the 'If you could See Her' skit. I don't think thats Nazi-like at all, I just think its an example about how Germany was gradually changing up to 1933 with the rise of the NSDAP.
