NIST is not finished, FEMA was a joke. This is what demolitiondave (at JREF) had to say about Blanchard (contacted him no response):
I wouldn't read Blanchard's garbage. He has no experience with explosives,blasting or demolition. He is not an engineer either. He maintains an implosion website and during the day he monitors vibrations on pile driving jobs.
He is a self proclaimed "expert"

There was an ABC Documentary on Explosives demolition where they referred to Blanchard and his sidekick as the "Beavis and Butthead of the Implosion industry"

Please google NIST + WTC7 and look on page 26 of the report. Note the the west end and the east end of the main roof started dropping within a HALF SECOND of each other. That's probably why Danny Jowenko came to the conclusion he did from the video, which he did without knowing it was WTC7 on 9/11. Jowenko lives and works in Holland and seems to have no obvious motive to lie.

They told him about the fires. Don't you watch these videos before you debunk? They tried to asess the damage the best they could. Jowenko clearly says he wished he had more pictures of it. He gives his best opinion based on the info he has. He said he'd be "astonished" it it wasn't a deliberate implosion. He also clearly shoots down the idea of fires causing it to fall that way.

I doubt any documentary referred to him that way. You have to have something on the ball to edit an industry publication. I notice that instead of refuting what he says, you try to character assassinate him. So what did he get wrong in his paper, in your expert opinion?

He wasn't told the EXTENT of the fires, which were raging (according to the FDNY). Yes, he gives his best opinion, although he (intentionally?) wasn't given all the pertinent information.

Well, he saw pictures of the fire. I haven't seen any pictures that clealy show the extent of the fires. I don't think he was intentionally given inadequate info. The dude interviewing him seems to have the same questions. Hell, it looks like he's chillin' with him in his house on a Sunday afternoon. It's not like it's a set-up to fool Jowenko. Is there any more recent statements by Jowenko where he has looked at it closer and changed his mind?

There is a recored phone call with him a few months ago stating he hasn't changed his mind.
Any investigation into WTC7 that wasn't coming from a political angle would have to look into controlled demolition as an option. If this was some other office building that had been signed for and insured 7 weeks earlier then fell the way it did it would be considered the most likley cause. Any report commisioned that leaves out key possibilities is useless.

Please let us be specific. It is NOT evidence. It is the OPINION of a very qualified and respected person in the field based on evidence and therefore it is valuable in it's own right, but evidence is the fall times, or the lab tests showing evidence of Thermate in the WTC dust.

how on earth did the BBC report the collapse of Building 7 before it happened? Psychic clairvoyance? Of course they were told that WTC 7 was coming down, just like the firefighters, police, first responders and CNN were told it was coming down. They had to have had a source for making such a claim. These are svelte's idiotic claims:
1. The FDNY were knew before the collapse that there were explosives in WTC 7.
2. WTC 1 was probably intended to fall in such a way that it would completely destroy WTC 7.
3. But since it didn't, a team of demo experts ran into the burning bldg and rigged it for demolition with both explosives and thermite.
4. In addition, the bldg was pre-rigged with a variety of cutter charges.
How does svelte substantiate these claims? By changing the subject
