I dont care for Bernanke either. I wish Ron Paul was our President.I probably respect R.P. more than any other American. However,to call Bernanke dumb is pushing it. He almost got a perfect score on his SAT's, a bachelors at Harvard, a Ph.D(Economics)from MIT, and was a professor at Princeton. His educational endevours are as good as they come.Whats sad is that with all that knowledge he still commits unethical acts against the American People by being part of the FED.

Sorry, to me (fmr NASA JSC research scientist, top secret+), Bernanke is obviously dim. "He (Bernanke) needs to go back and take Economics 101" [Jim Rogers] Jim Rogers is completely correct in his assessment.
Bernanke is scared and afraid he's going to be punished. He knows he's doing wrong. Watch his body language. (He's a puke.) On what basis, on which criteria, are people appointed DC and Fed bank positions? Ethical values? Service-to-Other? Or manipulatable figureheads?

Well kaiser0soze I think the primaries were rigged so the ultimate choice would boil down to two candidates who are essentially the same. That's why they didn't rig the general election. Regardless of whether it was Obama or McCain they knew the Neocons would get their way. Just look at how Obama has caved in already with keeping Lieberman on as Homeland Security Chairman, Fed member as Treasury Secretary, and keeping Gates on as Defense Secretary. McCain would've done the exact same thing.

If the support base were large enough it couldn't be ignored, no matter how much the GOP or mainstream media opposed it, and that's the only way this will work, if we mobilize everyone in support of RP and the elimination of the FRB, and put an end to the misinformation being spread about the causes of the Great Depression and the causes of our current recession / depression.

myliverwurst we need to actually get vocal and talk about this stuff in public. Then we need candidates to run for on the type of platform that Ron Paul represents. Once we've been elected to office we'll have the ability to tell the Neocon forces in D.C. to take their agenda and shove it up their ass. I try to have a conversation with friends everyday about this because the vast majority doesn't recognize it or understand it. At least once a week I join friends for dinner and try to explain to people why everything they're doing is only going to make matters worse. So far it's been going pretty good but everyone needs to pass it one to other people and move the correct information through the population as a whole in order to be effective.

That's definitely a good start. Posting comments on the internet is fun but it really doesn't accomplish much. Speaking out in public is critical and when you get down to it that's what free speech is really. Then however we need to actually run for office and get elected to really change things. Otherwise it's just letters and E-Mails that get discarded by those in power. The bottom line is we can only affect the leadership of this country by BECOMING the leadership of this country.
