I just came back from Tamil Nadu, where there are many Muslims there. And they coexist with Hindus because they are neighbors, co-workers, and friends. They speak the same language, have the same cultural practices and are in many cases the same ethnic stock. The only difference is the religion. So I donot think these folks are itching to go off to "Muslimistan"..
I think you guys are doing a good job in shooting yourselves in the foot.
I hope that India fortfies the border with fences, barb wire, machine guns, and concrete walls and motion sensor tracking systems.
No more trade, no more cultural exchanges, no more bus service. We have nothing useful to learn from each other. We will just agree to disagree.
India's official position was for the Pakistan government to DO something to bring these terrorists to justice, not so?? But if you think that wven this is too much to ask, then I donot know what to say...
Perhaps for all your chest thumping, you guys are really scared. Scared not of India perhaps, but of the Taliban and the Laskhar-e-Taibah. All I have to say is good luck living under Shariah law, because they will be coming....
Heck the most loyal state in India, Tamil Nadu was one of the most rebellius initially. But they have a great set up there. Tamils have real autonomy and self government. Same with Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal...etc...
So after that if muslims in india want to join pakistan they will be wellcome from their muslim brothers in Pakistan.
Now regarding land rights, there are Muslims in Tamil Nadu, do you expect them to rise up and declare indpendence from Tamil Nadu and India, puhlease, spare me....
The problem with this debate is that you guys focus squarely on religion, when there are other apsects such as ethnicity, culture, language, and tribal affilitation...etc..
Now I've visited Pakistani threads where there were Pakis who were racist towards the Muhajirs, so what are you talking about. I'll bet you that as soon as these poor Muslims from India go to Pakistan, they will find out very quickly how welcome they really are....LOL!
It isn't good enough that you guys have Pakistan, you want another chunk of territory. Well...that isn't happening my man.

Americans genuinely are interested in Indian culture and history etc...and Indians are especally fascinated with the US and the American way of life.
Despite radically different backgrounds there are values to be shared, between India and the US, as opposed to India and Pakistan.
I don't know what part of India you went to, but where I went, Muslims and Hindus are living in peace.
I've seen Americans coming to India....Infact I am an American citizen who the son of Indian immigrants to the US, and I can personally assure that they are not there to "F**K the girls.
They are genuinly curious and fascinated, so they come to pay a visit. I also say Brits and other Europeans there as well...

The world has finally seen how low Pakis could go just to cover a crime. It is pity, we talked about terrorists and Pakis talked about war - and why not, they have been brainwashed about military superiority of Pak. In the wars (65, 71, 99) they were told Pak had won, still the men in power were sacked, whereas in India, leaders became heroes.
Pak has left its people with eggs on their faces and made itself a laughing stock!
Only tribals could rejoice the murder of 180 people.
