You want to see some Texas Two STeppin by wRONg PAUL, watch him talk about abortion on the View...i don't care what side of the issue you're on, he answers direct questions with questions, nonanswers, and splitting hairs until they corner him into finally saying "let the states decide" What a weak cop out. He was very dishonest of The View (Dec. 4) and wouldn't admit his position on abortion
until they cornered him. He answered their very direct questions with ludicrous
questions of his own, eventually suggesting there's no difference between an
abortion in the first month and one in the 8th month, then retreated behind
"let the states decide"--he sounded like a typical texas politician to me

I dislike how the media trys to portray Dr. Paul as an "isolationist" but the good doctor always explains clearly why he is not an isolationist but a non-interventionist. There is a big difference!

I heard someone say we should have a 1 day event where every freeway overpass has a Ron Paul supporter on it at the same time across the country ,that way we would get publicity and more participation in meetups,I think it sounds like a good idea. [Repost]

He has always firmly stated that the states should decide about it. I see how u could think what you think because he WAS answering questions with questions. However, he made himself pretty clear. He doesn't personally agree with abortion, but his view is that FEDERAL government should not control matters that are not dictated in the Constitution. He was never dishonest.

I didn't see a crazy old man on Meet the Press... I saw a wise old man having to defend himself against off base accusations. I don't remember hearing one accusation that he didn't clarify. Some of his stances are being exaggerated. He says that the U.S. shouldn't entangle themselves in foreign affairs, so he's accused of being an isolationist... Stuff like that keeps happening repeatedly, but I've read many of his articles and I know what he stands for.

why do u hope for that? Do you WANT the government to run your life??? I don't believe in pure laissez faire, but I also don't believe in socialism.

Not that simple. The government is in kahutz with the corporations with or without campain contributions - in fact the Federal Reserve and the income tax was designed by the private banks, in total violation of the consitution!
Do some googling on the subject, you'll see. Start by watching "Fiat Empire".

the more power the government has, the more america is negatively ffected by government bribes. Government will always be corrupt, since people who want to abuse power are often the ones attracted to positions of power. However, the less power the government has, the less harm it can do when corrupt. Who can deal more damage, a corrupt dictator or a corrupt president?
