The R6 is NOT a 180 mph stock bike. Low to mid 160s are all you'll get going downhill. Ask YOUR local Yamaha dealer. Your cousin is either lying to you, or has an R1, not an R6.

yea, 600cc bikes bone stock wont do 180's, i got a zx7r, and its bone stock but lowered, and low 170's is the max it'll do.
