Oh Furconsin! As my buddy Bacon said in his LJ: "So yeah.. something that happened at FURconsin really surprised me. I'm not going to talk about the great time we all had as I already did that, but more the reactions we had. They just blew me away!
FURconsin started out as mightytauren and I eating dinner together and talking about the recent video (at the time) of Scritch, Yagfox, and someone else all suiting in London. I think we both expressed the fact that we really enjoy watching the videos of the fursuiters doing the public suiting in the city... they are always entertaining and people always seem to have wonderful reactions. It actually surprised us that there aren't MORE of these videos... just the london furs and a few others seem to ever shoot vids of them suiting in a bigger city.
So of course, our idea expanded from there, to inviting furiends from all over to join us on our planned day of suiting in public. The bowling part was added after the fact, the absolute main goal of FURconsin was to go downtown."
