I cant make people understand. If people cant understand that through DRIP investing in the stock market they can realize gains (during the bull market) within one contained economy of 300% on their money? Then I can't help them. So if I take that USD ABROAD (Which I've only traveled out of the country seven times in the last 10 years & 90% of that was to countries with weaker currencies) then yes, my USD would be worth less. But while I am LIVING within the US- my gains have outpaced all else.

Too many people measure "The DOW against this or that", and do not realize the compounding returns that are possible with any individual portfolio far past the DOW, and it's pretty dang easy.
This is how Buffett built his billions. It's really not that hard.
So Buffett's billions, if priced in dollars, are worth less than they were 10 years ago. The point, is that his returns have outpaced dollar devaluation. That's the entire trick.

Diversification. It's not too hard. It just takes the education of knowing what you're doing, and patience. But the stock market was the vehicle to bring about those gains that compound themselves through DRIP ...

I own gold and silver, and foreign currencies. But gold and silver and even cash currencies will never, ever, ever be able to compound their returns. They can't. They can INCREASE (or decrease) in value. But they 1 dollar can't become 2 dollars, just by sitting there.
DRIP investing with dividend stocks CAN do that. Through the power of profit sharing and compounding the returns.
