I have doubt in the conclusions this video makes. First, the value in money is not the paper it is printed on. Money has value because it is enforced by the governing state. It is LEGAL tender - meaning that the people of the state decide to give the currency power. It is in the coming together of people that money has value. Second, by not being backed in silver-buillion, the printing of money has allowed for exponential growth. This wouldn't be possible if we continued to split a pile of rocks
