jpjames1, I hope he does, but I doubt it. I think he'll be like Pete and just win some more Wimbledons, but that's about it. I think it's over for him. I hope he can even break Pete's record, but now I'm not so sure he can with Nadal and Djokovic who are much younger than Roger.

I think Tennis is blessed with some very good players, some up and coming, some with huge impressive records. Roger has played at such a level for so long its just human to have an off day. Some are writing him off which I think is a huge mistake. Nadal, brilliant player and true icon for the game. Murray so eager to take his place in the top rankings. He is afraid of no one, this is going to make tennis so exciting over the next few years. Good luck to them all...

However, Nadal of present can demolish even Djokovic of last year many times. He is in zone. Now surface don't matter for Rafa, it seems, with this multiple dimensional play.Although, it is also true that Nole has lost confidence completely may be after Hamburg loss or Wimby or Queens, prior to that he was also looking very dangerous.Rafa now all the way to end of year, and obviously No.1.
